Broadvox Announces New GO!Xtras SIP Trunking Service Options
Enhanced Local Numbers and SIP Trunking Options extend critical E911 services to Branch Offices and Telecommuters

Dallas, Texas — 07.18.08 — Broadvox, an IP communications innovator since 2001, has repackaged the GO!Anywhere SIP Trunking product by expanding it into two separate products to give small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) more opportunities to take advantage of the cost savings realized with SIP Trunking. In addition, Broadvox recently announced the release of GO!Xtras service options to further enable customers to customize their IP communication solution rather than packaging it for them.

GO!Anywhere retains all the features and functionality it has always had, delivering unlimited local and long distance calling and offering a typical savings of up to 70% for companies when compared to their traditional telecom costs. The spin-off GO!Local product offering includes all the features of GO!Anywhere with the exception of long distance. GO!Local is perfect for businesses with minimal long distance requirements or who simply want to manage their long distance usage. Customers who choose GO!Local have the option to add long distance service, as well as toll-free inbound calling.

The recently announced GO!Xtras comprise four different options: Enhanced Local Number (ELN), Enhanced DID, Virtual DID and Directory Listing (DL).

Enhanced Local Number has the most features. In addition to unlimited local calling for areas other than where the company PBX is located, it also provides outbound presentation of a number other than the billing number of the GO!Local SIP trunk. This service is ideal for telecommuters or companies with remote offices physically distant from company headquarters. Local and long distance costs are determined by the calling area of the ELN and Local Number Portability is included so companies can keep their current telephone numbers. ELN includes individual E911 registration, affording protection for telecommuting workers and branch offices. Enhanced Local Number is only available with GO!Local.

Enhanced DID and Virtual DID are options available with both GO!Local and GO!Anywhere. Companies may choose to add DL to ELN or Enhanced DID if there is a physical address with geographic relevance to the company’s SIP Trunk. DL and E911 are not available with Virtual DID, which is the new cost effective option for customers simply needing additional DIDs for calls automatically routed through the PBX such as fax machines or other applications where E911 registration is not necessary.

“Local number presence does more than simply connect branch offices to headquarters operations by enabling businesses to establish geographical identity,” said Frank J. Bernhard, managing principal and technology economist with advisory research firm OMNI Consulting Group. “With increasingly sophisticated SIP-based services, selection of presence options delivers an economic advantage of regional influence for certain remote office scenarios. Telecommuters and mobile workforce employees can easily tap the cost-savings of local dialing while maintaining a connection to PBX telephony functions elsewhere.”

Broadvox SIP Trunking solutions provide the flexibility to satisfy virtually any unique customer requirement and the repackaged GO!Anywhere and GO!Local products along with the new GO!Xtras services options are the latest examples of continually expanding the product offering.
