Broadvox Announces Strategic Partnership with The Amanda Company
Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking and Vdex-40 IP PBX Combine to Deliver Unique Telecommunications Solution to SMBs

Dallas, TX — 03.04.08 — Broadvox announced today they have achieved interoperability with the Vdex-40 IP PBX system. The Amanda Company is a Master Distributor of TechnoCo’s Vdex-40 embedded Asterisk* IP-PBX for North America.

Broadvox GO! SIP Trunking, when deployed with the Vdex-40 IP PBX system, makes a truly affordable VoIP system even more desirable. The Vdex-40 IP PBX system supports up to 35 telephones maximizing voice quality by implementing separate microprocessors to process voice and data traffic. Broadvox SIP Trunking scalability and Vdex-40 flexibility combine to bring a unique offering to the IP telephony market, offering more features to SMBs at a much better price.

“Vdex-40 IP PBX systems feature multiple location connectivity, automated attendants and remote extensions which make it an ideal choice for contact centers,” said Eric Eckman, Director of Business Development at Broadvox. “SMBs will appreciate the pricing, especially when they find that standard features include mobile extensions with laptop soft phones and voice mail forwarding to email.”

“As a premier provider of VoIP services, Broadvox is an ideal partner for The Amanda Company,” stated David Woo, Managing Director at The Amanda Company. “Broadvox’s experience and product offering will accelerate our efforts in expanding our market presence. We are pleased to partner with Broadvox as our preferred SIP Trunking vendor and are offering our VARs a $100 spiff for every Vdex-40 sold in conjunction with Broadvox SIP Trunks.”

Vdex-40 is an Asterisk-based IP-PBX. It affords a higher degree of reliability because it is a fully embedded system that uses flash memory without noisy fans or spinning hard drives that are prone to mechanical failure. Vdex-40 supports SIP Trunking but can also connect directly to POTS lines from the phone company.

Delivering unlimited local calling, toll free, nationwide and international calling, the Broadvox SIP Trunking offering includes E911, DIDs and local number portability allowing businesses to keep their current phone numbers. Broadvox SIP Trunking provides for business continuity during a crisis and unlimited geographical distribution to eliminate or reduce the number of PRIs and branch office PBXs.
