FCC Regulations for 911/E911 Calling

In accordance with the FCC requirements that are listed in the emails Broadvox customers receive when their SIP Trunking service is deployed, 911 labels are required to ensure that they are aware that 911 calls may not be possible from premises based VoIP equipment. Broadvox supplies a minimum of 5 labels to each SIP Trunking customer to ensure that this requirement is met. The 911 labels must be placed on or near equipment used in conjunction with Broadvox service. Please contact Broadvox immediately if you did not receive the labels or if more are needed. If you have any questions or comments regarding the labels, please do not hesitate to contact Broadvox. View the FCC requirements as documented in our Acceptable Use Policy.
